Hello! I am a Freelance Illustrator and Educator based in Nottingham.
Recently, I completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art where I experimented creatively. I am currently enjoying continuing this transformative process and applying sketchbook experiments and processes to commissioned work.
As an Educator, I am committed to exploring the enriching interdisciplinary relationship between Art and Education through delivering workshops to schools, community groups and to whoever would like to take part. Art should be for everyone!
Commissioned projects include working with the The National Justice Museum, The National Trust, Nottingham Castle Trust and The Arts Council, actively celebrating strong connections to History, Heritage and Locality.
I am drawn to stories that use Science Fiction to process everyday human experiences. As an example, ‘Life on Mars’ is a story I conceived and illustrated which metaphorically responded to the physical and emotional consequences of living through covid, which was shortlisted for the Batsford Prize 2022.
